I was just wondering if anyone has these subs or have heard them and if they sound good and whats the minimum wattage that will not make them crap on themselves in a ported box!

I'd give them atleast 1000W total so 500 each. But try for more like 800-1000 each if you can.

I think you'll be happy with these. As for myself, I run the 2000SPL's and they pound with ~1200 watts. 1000 RMS absolute minimum for these.

True true being that the RMS is 1000 on those i was just wondering if i needed to get the 3004spl's or the 3002SPL's im thinkin the 3002's so that i can run both my amps at a 1 ohm load which is around 800 watts rms or so should make em get there assets in gear im sure......

You have two amps that each do 800 wrms @ 1 ohm? Ditch them, get a mighty amp.

I've got 2x 3004SPL's, and they're super-beasty loud, but you've gotta give 'em juice.

700 each at least to move your mirrors.

Nah i like my Autoteks there the shit im trying to find 2 100.2's though a step up from my 50.2's i passed one up on ebay in imaculate condition for 180 shipped i kik myself in the *** everytime i think about it!!!

The spl series are great subs but they need power... get a bigger amp like a orion 2500d or a viper 2500d...

as far as sq they sound very nice

My son is running these subs off of a BX1500 and they slam hard ! You'll do just fine with 800 watts on each sub , enjoy the boom !
