Just installed in dash LCD

i just installed the jensen vm9510 and i have a system, two 12's and a kx1200.1 hooked up, whenever i turn it up, the screen starts to flicker whenever the bass hits, any one know why this is happening? my old kenwood regular cd player never used to do that, it was a regular mp3/cd player

Its called a voltage drop. Your old system probably wasn't as taxing on your car's electrical system as your current one is.

There are several corrective steps you can take to rid yourself of this problem. The first is to ensure that you are running the correct size power wire to your amp. You should have at least 4awg. The next step is to perform the Big 3 upgrade to your vehicle. Thirdly, you can upgrade your battery under the hood to something more stout. And lastly, you can upgrade your alternator to something that produces more power than stock.
