Ok so my battery wasn't strapped down and it kinda fell into my alternator's fan blades which ate a hole in the side of one of the cells. Will this create a dead cell? The battery is stell sitting at 12.98 volts and I haven't noticed any problems yet...

ya check the volts dont worry about the flammable and corsive acid thats gonna come out of that hole.

a damaged cell is going to make ur voltage drop by 2v i believe, did acid come out? u make have just got the case of the batt
