Alt Whine and Speaker Noise

I recent got my Rainbow SLCs installed and now I have alt whine, and a muffled staticy noise coming out of my tweets. The staticy noise is there at all volumes, with the gains turned all the way down. I thought it may of been the ground, so I moved to the ground to where my sub amp ground is located and the noise is still there.. I unplug my RCA cords and everything is fine.. Any ideas?

Try and ground your deck to somewhere else and see if the problem goes away.

Try regrounding your headunit.

It's the primary cause of alt whine.

The static sound is probably from a loose RCA connection somewhere.

But i never had alt whine before I got the Orion 400.2 amp installed and my components.. Have had the head unit for approx 19 months now..

And it wouldn't have become noticeable until you installed an amplifier on your speakers.
