Just got this email from the CEO of Texas de Brazil

I'm not sure if it's real, but I also don't know how someone would know I had sent a letter in the past. Weird thing is, I sent the letter like 4 months ago to suggest to them to not train their servers to be so pushy when upselling. Nothing big, just a suggestion. The manager at the local place called me and took care of it, then I get this letter today:

I read the comliant that you sent to us and I'm sure you noticed that business is good. Are servers are trained to upsale and this will continue. If you decide not to return it is your loss. Please do not send us any of your letters if they are to complain on such petty things. it is a waste of my time.

lol... you just had a CEO of a restaurant tell you to piss off. how do you feel?

What did they do to make you write the complaint in the first place?
The food is great and I love the place, it just pissed me off that the waiter wouldn't leave us alone about wine selection when I was at dinner with my girlfriend. "Give us a minute" does not mean "please show me everything about your extensive wine list the size of a novel"

I hate when that happens...

I was just curious about what the deal was. I have only been to one of these places and it was in Aruba... Got I always eat too much...

Make a copy of it and bring it to managment. Tell them you were happy with the manager's solution and felt no need for this. Be sure to bring the envelope and other materials. Indicate you want to validate that is the CEO.
