Just got the ol' taxes done today

im a first time homebuyer also.....but i had already sent off my return. Will i be able to do it next tax year? i moved into this house in april 08.........me and my fiance both live here, and have, ever since april....so next year we will have over a full year here, so since i didnt do the first time homebuyers thing this time around, was wondering if i would still be able to next year. Or if im jus SOL...lol. If someone can help me, and wants to pm me, that would be fine as well! thanks alot, Ed.

file an amended return

weird hunh....i mean it was only like 30 minutes of work from me and i reap the benefits for the next 18 years!!
if only it were that easy I'd sign on for some booger eaters

A kid cost more than you get back. Although I really need to find a kid that's not mine to claim.
agreed kids make you consume more taxed goods. Just gets old to see people getting big tax deducts for the little ones when I help pay for their schooling, etc out of my tax dollars

If you find a pool of unclaimed kids let me know...haha

MY sister was looking at the first time credit, but said you have to pay it back 500 each year for the next 15 years.
that sucks, didn't know it was like that. An interest free loan is an interest free loan...still would be better as free money though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If you die, the loan doesn't come out of your estate.

you don't pay for my kids to go to school at all. My kids school gets no state or federal funding...i foot the whole bill

I get mine done from some tax lady that worked for the irs for 30+ yrs and now she just does personal returns.. for the last 4 yrs i have reaped the rewards of her knowledge.. 5-6k every year and im single with no kids...

gotta itemize everything guys might be a pain in the A$$ but it's soo worth it when u get a 5-6k check every yr..

ohh btw i made 64,000 last yr before taxes, after state, federal i barely made 47,000

they **** me :./
