Just got the biggest bargain I ever got

So in terms of finding bargains, I think I reached my pinnacle for new gear today. Just got in a Dual DA8001 amp, rated very optimistically at 2500Wx1 Rms @ 1ohm. Happened to be checking out amazon when this one came up for $87 shipped, for $40 less than what I had paid on the DA6001 I had tested earlier.

So threw it on the test bench today and got...

1756Wx1 @ 1 Dynamic

1676Wx1 Uncertified

1500+Wx1 Certified, I will need to film it for the actual number.

Granted this isn't normal cost for one of these, but I really wish I had bought two (Amazon bumped the price immediately after purchasing) and strapped them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I remember when dual 1st came out, seen it 1st at Walmart and early stuff was junk.

That's pretty good for a budget 1500W, and at least you get good warranty service out of Amazon.

Certifiied and Uncertified in the 900's... Dynamic was 1006 if I remember

Dynamic at .85 I got 1978W

Dynamic .75 I got 2405 and it went into protect.

2 ohm is a good number to know...

which amp would you want,

1 does 2000w at 1ohm and 1000 at 2ohm

or 2000w at 1ohm and 1500w at 2ohm

also its no secret there are budget amps that do around 1500w for $100

i got my shark for $99 shipped, and a belva BB2000d. and i would take both those over dual any day.
