Just got the biggest bargain I ever got

2 ohm is a good number to know...which amp would you want,

1 does 2000w at 1ohm and 1000 at 2ohm

or 2000w at 1ohm and 1500w at 2ohm

also its no secret there are budget amps that do around 1500w for $100

i got my shark for $99 shipped, and a belva BB2000d. and i would take both those over dual any day.
For a cheapie my Belva bb2000dv2 takes a licking and keeps on tickin. Yea it only does 1k clean but that’s all I needed for now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I’m gunna need double that 1k pretty soon tho :/

If I could find a Belva 5k cheap enough I would definitely grab it!

lol i remember before we had any walmarts around here and got spark o matic cassette players at advance auto
We always had a Walmart in this town since I was 3-4 years old. Thats about 40 years I can remember.

I remember the sparkamatic, some brand like krako or something, and I remember when a system was an 8 track deck and two 6x9's

And you had it if you owned an eq/amp.

Jenson was a pretty big name at one time to.

But life did get better when pioneer, kenwood, alpine, fosgate, kicker, jl, and liner power to name a few stepped up the game and competed for the top spot.

Guess I should have put Sony in that list too, sony's products fell pretty hard 15-17 years ago but before that they made some pretty great products.

Best time for me was the 90's, we had all kinds of great brands made in the USA and at the end of the 90's in my opinion some of the best sq ab class amps were made. But just a few of these brands made it till today (still made in USA)

Liner power was never a big name like fosgate or kicker but liner power is still being made today, so that's why I threw its name out.

Guess we still have once great brands like ppi or Phoenix gold........,but it's just rebranded junk in name only.

I know I'll probably hit a nerve with my ppi remark since they now make cheap power.........but give me a ppi that does 110db signal to noise ratio, dampening at 500, and a rms rating with a number starting with a (.0 or .00 thd) and I'll buy it.
