the big bang may be cheap as well(not that cheap) but ive seen these in action my friend has one. tho he blew running it at .25ohm??? haha im not going below 1 ohm... but before he ran it at 1 and it was nice. he did a 150.9db average on music(no burp) for 30 secs @ headrest, at the org that we compete here in ky.

Cheap amps just require more attention and less actual play time. doesn't always mean they are bad. Now hitting a 150 @ 2200w is very feasible I'm hitting 144's off of 800w @ 34hz, that's more install/subwoofer dependent than actual power.

ive never burped mine seein its pointless because ours is 3 round, 15secs, 30secs, & 45secs averages on each round.

I thought about getting that amp from the same seller for a friend. I had a defective Db 2K also, and I think the same people do the repairs when it goes bad? I had the DB fixed and it still ran hot and started smoking again. I could have have got it fixed again, but what's the point when the repair guy has no clue. I had these problems at a 2 ohm load. I have 2 BRZ2400.1ds now and have no problems, and they never get hot. I could fry an egg on the Db Drive amp. Someone was complaining about the BB2400 on another forum (ROE) and they bought it from the same seller.

That makes a difference, lol, i was talking about the new BB's, not the old ones.

it is a refurb but its not one of the older ones. i know the one he got. good amp for the price but the way he stepped down in amps is what gets me lol

Hey glad to hear you switched stuff up. IMHO one of the best ways to learn, that and it's just all part of the fun of doing this stuff. Good luck with the amp (which I would say no matter what amp it was) and hope you have fun giving that thing a good beating!
