I thought about getting that amp from the same seller for a friend. I had a defective Db 2K also, and I think the same people do the repairs when it goes bad? I had the DB fixed and it still ran hot and started smoking again. I could have have got it fixed again, but what's the point when the repair guy has no clue. I had these problems at a 2 ohm load. I have 2 BRZ2400.1ds now and have no problems, and they never get hot. I could fry an egg on the Db Drive amp. Someone was complaining about the BB2400 on another forum (ROE) and they bought it from the same seller.

BB2400s like to get hot, and they do not do the full 2400, if you look at your birthsheet, it'll say about 2100w, and that's a bench test, so there's not any voltage drop, it's just they're not amazing amps. Why you would go from a SAZ2k to a DA 2k to this amp (which ***** compared to both)?

again... my sundown was stolen.... the db was defective.... so i just thought id try alot of ppl said they have had luck with them and still have them. if somethings wrong or im not satisfied ill send it back

i know they own them now... but these amps are not new or nothing.. the newest planet audio amp i know of is the RXD line. which i tried and sold. but when i got the rxd everyone said i should have got the big bang... but like i said before alot of pppl on here said they were pleased with their big bang amps

Yeah I heard the older planet audio amps are good and do rated.

yea... these are one of the older ones... not the oldest but yea made before they were bought out boss

really? well.... like i said i seen and heard mixed opinons on it... ive heard these in person and they sound really good.

lol they made the newer bbs before boss as well lol... the i have is a newer one but still old enough to say boss didn make it lol.... i wouldna goit if boss made it

I bet my ballz its the same people if you have a 3 year warranty! I don't care where the Db came from, the same shop refurbs that amp.
