shit, i thought this one sub was louder than my two fifteens. It sure felt and sounded like it, and i know those were well above 140. Im startin to think that this mic was all ****ed up it didnt look like he used it much, or maybe not even knew HOW to use it.......

just because it sounds louder doesnt mean it is louder..

Also, why do you have a solo x if you dont know how to properly power it? Thats just like these people who ask about the MT's because they want one. If you want it/have it then you should know how to use it.

yeah..i only paid $750 for my s18x..

and as far as powering it goes....IME if he tries to power it daily with it's rated rms, 2500wrms, he'll be buying a Spair in no time. i did have a s10x that i gave 2500wrms daily too and basicly ripped the surround straight off. this in the kicker recommended 2.25ft^3 tuned to 40hz box. i'll say this too..that lil bitch dropped as low as a pair of 15's easily...but it would bottom out playing anything above 50-55hz..so maybe it was just a bad one..lol..

I have 2500+ to my solo x 12 daily now....low as heck! Box is tuned to 32hz....almost waaaay too much bass....

bottomed out playing above50-55 hz??

Solo X's or roadmaster. Don't think the amount of money spent determines the knowledge but how deep your pockets are.

actually i DO know how to power a solo x so shut up....im pretty **** sure two jbl bp1200s that i have is almost too much, but im only running one as of now, the other one is kinda messed up.....guess i just need a new box, sorry no pictures yet

Dont know if it will help all too much, but a hatch civic, generation 6 and I believe 7 have an acoustical environment that peaks around 60hz. I know because I tuned for a long time to get some big numbers off 2 RE SX12s.

it was actually a mic,not a sensor. and you say that 60hz is the loudest in a hatch?? interesting. maybe i need to face my ports somewhere besides up??

Thats only if ur car is generation 6 im pretty much positive, and Im pretty sure its **** close in a generation 7 civic hatch. I think like earlier year hatches like CRXs are like 53hz if I remember right...
