I hope they catch the fawkers...thats why I sleep with a 410 revolver under my pillow...first 3 shots 410 last two 45 ...If they startle me sleepy eyed I can't miss ...last two shot will be too finish them off....I figure I'd be awake by then....

My college house was broken into when I was home for winter break. They broke in through the back door and kicked in all the bedroom doors (we locked them before we went home for break) and they didn't take a thing???? I had my flatscreen and my computer in my room and they didn't even take anything.

**** man, sorry to hear that shit. That's just another sign of the times... A gun is probably one of the best investments you can make these days.

I sleep next to my shotgun...but not sure if I'd want to shoot them over that...just injur them, perhaps. If I shot them, they'd bleed all over my stuff and you can't really shoot them running away.

I think a vicious dog to attack them would be optimal.

There was one in my neighborhood. Which is surprising, since I don't live in a overly nice neighborhood. Everyone around me is lower-middle class... I don't know what the robbers expected to get from the house. But, they ended up holding the girl hostage. Cops put a 2 block perimeter up, and there was a helicopter and SWAT came with MP5's and ish. I just thought, "You disrespected my whole family!"

IMO, leaving isn't enough. I want them to hurt.

I am not trusting enough of the judicial system. But a dog maul...that would be good. And I am not so certain one can be sued so easily for dog mauling a theif...but I have heard "stories" of people B&E, then stubbing their toe and winning a successful lawsuit.

The best combo is a small dog, and a big dog. The small dog will get all defensive and nip at the person's feet, and once the person kicks the dog, the big dog will come defend. It's a perfect duo.
