i've had cars stolen and actually caught robbers trying to steal my car before, but being woken out of a drunk sleep to find two guys in your home trying to steal your shit is definately a strange experience

now i just gotta figure out how i can use this experience to pick up hot chicks

Home invasion means they make you let them in. Sounds like two idiots attempting a burglary to me. Eitherway I think most home invasions involve someone who knows you, or someone who knows or has had contact with someone who knows you. Because they have to know there's something in the house that they need your help to find to make it worth the extra work of forcing their way into the home while the owner's still there rather than having free run of the place while you're at work.

Around here real home invasions (Man with gun makes you let him in the front door) mostly happen to business owners and people in communities where it's known that keeping large amounts of cash in the house is a common thing.

well it looked like two mexicans/hispanics to me and i didnt recognize the car. you can tell from the shoe prints that they walked around the house before breaking in. i am guessing they tried the back door first, but that has been frozen shut for weeks
