We just got Verizon FiOS in the area and im having a little bit of difficulty with setting up the new network.
Previously we had Comcast Cable Internet and I ran the connection from the modem through a Linksys WRT54G(sp?) wireless/wired router via ethernet and then an additional access point upstairs via a Linksys external network card.
Everything worked fine and dandy...
Now we've got FiOS installed and Verizon supplied me with a Modem/Wired-Wiresless Router. I currently have it setup so that the FiOS modem/router is hooked up directly to the computer, but with this setup I no longer have access to internet upstairs. I tried connecting the FiOS modem/router through the Linksys router like I had with Comcast but it doesnt seem to work at all. I tried running ethernet from the FiOS modem/router to the Linksys router and then ethernet from the Linksys router to the primary computer...
Any Ideas?
