when you were auditioning comps, did you notice a difference in the types of tweeters used and how they sounded?

Actually yes I did notice quite a difference in the sound of everything I auditioned...Focal IS, 3ways, V30 they all sound Much brighter cept maybe the 3 ways...I liked the Arcs a lot better more mellow better mids. In each I could hear the progression relative to the prices...I asked about the JL's but the guy said they werent even in the same ballpark so I didnt listen to them...maybe I should have...

All running off same amp and same volume for same songs...just switched them all back and forth...

Just called a place local in canada and they guy said he couldnt care less where I buy the stuff. He charges $75 an hour does it all and many people bring stuff purchased on ebay to install he just doesnt warranty the equipment...
