Yep but with zero warranty. The speaker was $229 and the box was $89 btw...
I did notice the $50 warranty option though...Either way I can only fit 1 10" in a box...
They dont warranty the equipment.. they warranty their install.. if the equipment goes bad they just send you off to RE to have them fix it.. which will be the same either way

RE Audio SEX10D4 (SEX10-D4) 10" Dual 4 ohm SE-X Car Subwoofer

$150 from sonic, and they are authorized. If your sub needs warranty work, you will be fine thru them. You dont need to spend an extra 100 just to get it locally

All they carry are Arc Audio and Focal for higher end. They did have JL Alpine Kicker and Pioneer too but I hadnt got much feedback on those brands...
why don't you just hang out on here, ask some good questions...find out where the deals are to be had and what brands people are using?

I have been but I am stuck on warranties and an install by someone other then myself...As for brands I was all about hertz focal rainbow image dynamics cdt but lucky me NOBODY carries those brands...

Their website and the store manager tell me otherwise. Cartunes offers a 3+3 guarantee which extends the manufacturers warranty to 3 years (parts and labor). He said I could bring it in and they take care of it basically...But who knows I guess...

I suppose man. Its whatever, its your money to spend. Not mine. What happens if they go out of business next year? Your warranty then means nothing.

Anyways, like above stated.. RE is junk anyway.. the sub MAY be worth $150 but DEFINITELY not 200+

They have been going since 1977 but I guess anything is possible. I only went there because I wanted to listen to some speakers and because I cant install myself...between a rock and hard place...

Where are you located? I'm sure someone some one may be able to offer advice and/or services.

I don't know anyone up that way myself, but I'm sure we have members in the area that could help out.
What about the install do you fell you can not do?
Honestly I dont trust myself with Any of it...I wouldnt even know where to start...My truck looks like it just came off the lot in 2002 not a single rip tear stain hole or anything hell its never even dirty (family and friends laugh at me and call me ****)...

So I wanted to go and audition some speakers from Arc and Focal. I listened to the XDi series $209 the Arc series $379 and the Black series $849 from Arc Audio. From Focal I listen to the V30 series $550 and the IS series $329. To my ears I liked the Arc better they just seemed fuller more mids and no screaming highs. My favs were the Blacks but at $849 thats too rich for my blood. I really liked the Arcs too which really werent that far off from just standing there switching back and forth...
Basically it broke down to these components and how I want to or should piece them together...

Black series 6.2 $849

Arc series 6.2 $379

KS300.4 $399

KS300.2 $399

RE SEX10" $318 in ported box

The guys gave me a few option suggestions:

Black series, KS300.4 $1700 installed

or

Arc series, KS300.4, KS300.2, RE SEX10" $2014 installed

I am thinking maybe:

Arc series, KS300.4, RE SEX10" $1530 installed

I will be using them and I am limited to these brands. I dont want to buy a bunch of stuff online and take it to them to install. I asked about that and he was honest with me...They give a 3 year warranty on all parts and labor...

BTW the only thing I didnt know at least a little about was the RE subs. They said they were very nice and really didnt even mention any of their other brands such as alpine focal JL Kicker Arc Audio and a few others.
That *****...and with just simple drop ins on the speakers, no sq treatments means it is going to be a crap shoot for some decent midbass, no matter what comps you buy....at least hope they do a decent tweeter install for some kind of decent imaging. The equipment is good minus the re sub and pre-fab box...but without careful detail in the install, not to mention a lack of active capability in the cheapest option, you are going to be stuck with what you get with hardly any room for tweaking all that high dollar equipment. The Arc prices are the same as buying direct from Arc Audio, or woofers etc.. No biggie and the amps are designed by Robert Zeff..good stuff.

They are going to make $318 + $100 for install on the sub alone, if my figuring is right based on what you have said.

The sub box...was that ported or sealed?

Here is what I would recommend-

Get the KS 300.4 and the Arc series. Have them set up the comps active on the KS300.4. Focus on having them sealed in the doors and some sound dampening on the door skins...at least find out what they would charge you for a decent install instead of a simple drop-in. Inquire about the possibility of adding an extra midbass to each door and the cost involved. Tell them you want good on axis tweeter imaging when they do the install (dash, window pillars, etc).

IF you can pull this off, you may find you do not need a small sub.

But if you still do and since low frequencies are omnidirectional, you do not need to spend on high end equipment to get excellent results. It is not as critical as keeping distortion out of your tweeters. The Alpine MRX55 550w Class D monoblock lists for $330..you might get that cheaper from the dealer(they are $279 online). As far as sub/box, you can buy a much better sub online for much less than the RE and have an efficient box built specifically for that particular sub to get the best sound (and most) out of it. The act of installing a sub /box is simply placing the box in the vehicle and hooking up 2 wires..you can do it, bro.

Going with the active crossovers you are buying with the amp means you should just buy some mids and a set of tweeters...don't spend $100 for passive crossovers included in the comp sets since you will not use them if you use the x-overs you are paying for in the amp.

-just my .02

I already had the sub and box picked out SSA GCON 12" in a sealed prefab box from woofer. The sub from them was just an add on I was basically wanting to listen to speakers get a feel for what was what. They talked me into ported vs sealed though but I dont know really...

In the end the sub is not even an issue here its all about the amp(s) components and install...

btw I had hertz hsk 165's black 6.2 or ID xs65's picked out to choose from used all running off a arc amp either the kar400.4 ks300.4 or mini125.4...but this was all used or bnib but without warranty where my sticking point is...

edit: I forgot I was going with pdx-v9 to run the sub and comps

Why are you so worried about a warrenty? I mean, even if something does mess up, youll still have to pay to have whoever take it out, then have nothing for as long as it takes.

Install it right and you wont have to worry about it sir. There are alot of sharp people on here who will walk you through anything you need help with.

The shops warranty covers everything. If it messes up I just take them the car they pull it out fix it or get me a new one and I am on my way. If I spend $400 for a new or used set from an unauthorized seller then I am out $400 right?

when you were auditioning comps, did you notice a difference in the types of tweeters used and how they sounded?
