congrats man, you'll do fine, I know alot of people feel that your life is going to change alot because your having a kid (and it will) but thats not a bad thing. You will have tough times as with anything in life, but you kid will make you proud many times in your life(crawling for the first time, walking, Saying daddy) which will make it all worth it.

You're absolutely right.
You know, years ago I used to work at the Mall at the video game place fixing games.. anyways, id see people come in there day in and day out so since I was bored I made it a point to "notice" people. Id see 20 something parents come in there with 1.5 kids ... and man - they were so burnt out and tired looking compared to people their own age who were rolln' around the mall scammn' girls still. It was like night and day difference, like the life had been vampired out of them.

Goof luck. My girlfriend just had a boy 4 months ago and its really not that bad. He came out with some unexpected problems but he's doing ok for now.

I'd honestly be scared. I could financially support it.. but I put my own life in danger too much and that would be one more worry for me. I need to pull my head out of my ***.

****.. i'm 20 now... and thought my GF was preggy.. i was so scared since her breasts were sore and she sorta missed her period... thankfully it was nothing.. i'm not ready for one..

hey man as long as you make decent money and you got a decent place already you should be fine. i turned 21 in sept and my 2nd kid was born on oct 19th. i hope u got good health insurance though, that birth will cost a ton and the shots baby will need. the military paid both kids birth so i didnt have to worry about it, but part where the kids cost, IMO, is the diapers, and formula. my son was on the alimentum formula and that sh*t was like 29 bucks a can and that dont last real long. the only thing i actually had to sell to pay for stuff was my 10w7s, that really sucked but i guess it just gave me an excuse to get something bigger.

there are a ton of people with advice and thanks for all of it, even if it was bad. i feel im pretty mature for 19. i got a nice job, pay all my own bils (rent, gas, electric, phone, cable, car, insurance) and i still have tons of fun. either way, i will be sacraficing alot of things, but it will all be worth it
