I live in Dallas where I have FIOS tv and internet. Lately

they have been messing with the channel numbers and such

which is a pain. They made room for a bunch of HD channels I

do not have access to.

So today I call them to shut off the 1 month of free HBO trial I signed

up for because I'm cheap. Right now I have:

FIOS tv with sports and Showtime

FIOS Phone

FIOS internet 15mb/2mb

So when I called, I asked about the new HD channels, long story short,

it's $10 cheaper to get all the HD channels with Showtime and 20mb/5mb.

I'll repost my speed tomorrow if it takes effect.

This was just a heads up to call them if you have not done so since the

HD channel rearrangement. I got all the new HD channels and and faster

internet for $10 less per month.

I pay $109 for all HD, unlimited phone and 20kb/5kb internet.

I add +$9 for sports and +$13 for Showtime +Starz + some other movie

channel

I add $20 for two regular receivers and $20 for one HD dvr "media center" receiver

that the other two can leech non HD dvr off of.

The whole thing comes to like $180 a month after taxes.
