just found out from my tax agent that i will be getting back 3100$ this year for taxes.

im really stoked a im 19. last year i recieved 1800$ but only worked for half the year, so i was hoping to get more this year but i didnt think it would be over 3k....

btw i work full time, am single, with no kids (one on the way though due august 1st.)

what is everyone else doing wih there taxes? im not sure what i will do, most of it will go straight in the bank, but some will be spent

Right on, and congrats on the pending child.

I'm getting back $2300, and that's ALL going in the bank because my wife and I are having our first baby, a boy, in April; at which time, she will stop working. I won't be graduating from college until May, then I'm leaving for my officer's training for the Air Force in August. In other words, I've somehow got to make up for the loss of income of her not working for 4-5 months.

Although, a nice system could be built for $2300.....

God I hate having to pay taxes. I'm 24, live on my own, work full time and go to school typically 15 hours a semester and I paid $1,900 this year. I wish it was b/c my job didn't tax me much but I paid about 19% of my years income into income tax alone.

saving mine if we go on strike in april
sorry to hear man. hope you dont go on strike

That's sweet man.
An //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif, the $ sign comes before the number: $3100
yeah i know, but its easier for me to put it after

Normally I get 3-5 thou. Just found out I'm going to owe gift taxes on 27,000. Thats going to bite.
how much is that going to be?

that would be real nice

Mine goes towards tuition.
good choice
