Does the Walkman with the tape deck adapter count?boombox sitting in the front seat
I remember the B-52's. Was the amp you are thinking of called Precision Audio? Hot Shots by Precision Audio maybe? I can see the logo in my head. Seems like they used to sell them in ads in lowrider magazine along with thump amps. Think they were the same company. Been at this for a long time too. My first system when I was 15(had a setup in moms car before I could drive) was two Jensen GRIP 12's off of a radioshack(yeah I said it) 25 by 2 amp . Rest of the system was factory speakers ran off of the factory tape deck in an 86 cutlass calais. My first upgrade was jumping to the big dog kraco 140 watt amp that they used to sell at the local Meijers(like a walmart for those not from this area). Then I briefly had an american bass flag series 12 off of a rockford fosgate series 1 amp (2600x maybe) . Somewhere I have as lot of my first setups written down.......used to make little diagrams for them like they did in car audio and electronics back in the day. Gonna have to dig those upMy first system was more than 20 years ago. Craig tape deck, Pyramid EQ/booster, and Pioneer 4-way 6x9's in the rear deck. I still have that EQ and 6x9's. lulz
My first subs were some off-brand name Ive forgotten, in a hatchback box along with mids and bullet tweets. Second subs were B-52's (which not many people here remember) in a pre-fab bandpass box all my friends were super jealous of (lol). Then RF Punches. Then PPI Pro's. etc...
My first amp was some off-brand Ive forgotten. Precision... Something... trying to sound like Precision Power. My second amp was a Pioneer gmh-100, which is a sweet little amp. Still have that too.
