the vehicle is going to determine the peek freq. more so than the tuning of the box.

True to a point. I've had my truck peak anywhere from 35-51 hz with the exact same sub but different box configurations. But, there are frequencies that are more ideal than others for resonance.

I need to put 3" longer ports in it to get the tuning down a bit, it punches you in the head hard but definately lacks any low notes (which is why I dont play them in this box lol), but thats what I get for building fart boxes

one 2500d @ .5 ohm, sealed @ the dash 148.7 (or 149.7 I couldnt tell, sun was glaring on laptop screen, but all other #'s were in the high 48's so lets call it a 48.7)... quick outlaw score did a 151.1.

since i have an odd design i am going to flip the polarity on the top two subs and see what happens...

btw I lost 1.4db just by going from one 2500d @ .5 ohm to two @ 1 ohm. I will also be testing my voltage to see what it drops to on these burps. Car is on as well.

well i tested each amp on each box individually and they are both dialed in exact, i get the same # to the tenth of a db, and the voltage drop with one amp is from like 14.2 to 13.5. Time to try with both amps. Then I'll try it with one amp @ .5.

ok I got it up to a 149.7 or 149.8 I cant remember. I'll get the 50 that shouldnt be a problem.
