Just Curious about Bass Knob

Setting your bass knob at 100% while setting your gains assures you that you don't clip. You'll know that, when the bass knob is maxed out, your amp is functioning at it's highest setting without clipping. You can always turn it down when extra bass isn't needed and you won't have to worry about pushing it too far when you want to crank it.

But, then what do you do when a song with low bass comes on and you want more? My bass knob has a clip light in it as well.

Bass knob @ 100% - Set amp gain with a -15db tone so you can get a hair more when you "Want More".

If you set it up to where your gain is just below the clipping point with the bass knob maxed out, you're not really gonna get anymore from the amp.

I disconnect my bass knob and set my gains.
