Well, i realized they are about 5 min drive from my house, so i decided to pay factory house a visit. I met the owner, Tilo, and he seemed really enthusiastic about his products. He just was so excited in showing me all his prototypes and just woofers just laying around.
I was shopping around for a 15" tc 3000 but i got a chance to look at a couple of the 18" LMS 5400's. I have to say those truly are monsters. I couldnt get a demo because there werent any in a box but I cant wait to hear one of them actually play. Hes already making some ready for Coldplay and other bands in custom enclosures.
Yeah and he showed me ribbon tweeters that hes producing and the mini sized 1" full range speakers hes producing for the car. Pretty much imagine (for the full range speaker setup) about 3-6 of the aura sound speakers stacked up on top of each other diagnoly parralleling the a pillar. He would put delay so that it would sound like its coming from same time. He commented how these full range will be 'bitchin' , and just a lot better than aura's. But yeah, only good things to say about the TC factory. I told him about some enthusiam expressed in the forums lately and he replied that he definitely needs to spend a lot more time on his forum and others as well... of course i mentioned Ca.com.
