Dension makes something that is a universal HD tuner with an outboard display, it would probably have to be used with a Pioneer CDRB10 or CDRB-20 to Aux in the signal.

For similar money, you can get a JVC MP3 player with the HD built in. Might not fit your tastes, but it is an option.
