Just came across a 26 year old stereo.... pics

I forgot my dad gave this to me about 2 years ago when I was looking for some computer speakers.... I tested it at the time and one speaker was all static-ey lol, so I put it in my closet and bought my logitech speakers. I was just cleaning yesterday and found this, hooked it back up, when the knobs are turned right there is no static //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It sounds SO much better than my logitech speakers too.

My dad said he used these when he lived in the barracks in the air force. Pretty nifty how this shit is older than me and still works and is in nearly perfect condition.. pics make it look worse as usual... says it puts out 85 watts @ 8 ohms HELL YEAH lol.

yup. its on my computer now. stopped by walmart last night and picked up an RCA to 3.5mm adapter for 5 bucks (i SWEAR i've bought 5 of these things already) and i'm listening to music on it now.... i havent even hooked up my logitech speakers since these have been on lol...

heh. i unhooked one of the speakers, wired my re 8 to 8 ohms, put it in a box tuned to 38 hz and its running on one channel (the balance is faded, you can see it in the first pic)... wow is all i can say lol.
