Good sub but thats way out of what you just spent. Either way cancel that crap. Pyle makes some of the worse stuff on the market right now.....

Needs a BIG box.

The second pyle 18 I'd almost say give it a whirl, but it's 8 ohms and I doubt whatever amp you have will do much at that load.

hmm. My amp is the Clarion 11551 DPX AMP. So 8 ohms is probably 400-500 rms?

Supposedly underrated too. The box says 1550 @ 2ohms. so almost 850 rms @ 4 ohms. Then 450rms @ 8 ohms (if it can handle the load capacity like that)

They get pretty inefficient with higher ohm loads. I'd stay away from that pyle of shit.... Put 1500 watts into a Audioque HDC3 and kill your hearing. You will love it.

Here are the manuals if you need to see the xmas and all that stuff. I'm only getting it to see How well a $100 18" subwoofer performs but I can't really find a 18" ported box. Should I just have someone make the box locally? Cut back on shipping for such a huge box
