Just bought my system

hey guys I just bought a new system today! I got a 1000/1 Kicker amp with 2 12" Alpine type R's. So is this going to beat my old system 2 10" w3's with a 500/1 jl amp

subs and an amp don't make a system - a well balanced choice of equipment ranging from disk reading to full-range audio production (any anything inbetween) does.

it has the potential to beat the jl's assuming your install is good, i don't know what sompetition your going to win with that setup?????if noone where you live can beat 2 type r's then i guess you can win.

depends on the box... I hope your going ported. But yea they should sound alot better.
