just bought 2 10" comp audiobahn subs and im clueless what to do with them

Okay so the first one is a aw1008q 10" dual 2 ohm voicecoil 1000rms and 2000max the other subwoofer is a aw1005q 10" dual 2 ohm voice coil 900rms 1800 max , I was planning on wireing these together at a 2 ohm load but I didnt know what amp to go with but then I thought would it just be better to put them in 2 seperate boxs and just run 2 seperate amps going to each speaker and having each speaker wired at 1 ohm. The first option is better for me because I would only wanna buy one amp but I'm clueless on which amp to choose 2 power them both at the same time in the same box please help...

either run 1 or the other dont mix diff subs on same or seperate power ...seperate boxes or not

but if you absolutly have to run them in the same box and look for a solid amp that does around 2 k@ 1 ohm

They are virtually the same sub only difference is 100w of power same voicecoils everything.. same brand but I woildent be able to wire them dual 2 ohm voicecoils on both subs together IDE only be able.to wire them at .5 ohm 2 , 4 and 8. Dual 4 ohm voice coils together could be wired at 1 3 6 I'm pretty sure. So that dosent really help.

then look for a amp that does 2 k @2ohms ...or beef up the electrical and get a amp that will run .5 ....or trade them for d4 and run @ 1ohm..lots of options

pretty much i wouldnt wana run 2 diff subs even if they were "close " esp those

"works" is a relative term. Of course you can mix/match brands, models, coils, sizes, and so forth. However, you will not be getting the best overall response from the product.

You will most likely get better results with just one of those subs in a properly built ported box vs running them both.
