im bout to add a second battery in my trunk for my amps... and im just makin sure ive got the wiring correct.

from the battery under my hood i can can just run the power wire from + terminal to the + terminal to battery 2 in the trunk and run a wire from - terminal under the hood to - terminal to battery 2 in the trunk? and i correct on this?

ok thats what i thought but i was thinkin myself why the hell would you need one on the -.....lol

X2 to what the above said. Two fuses on the main power wire, one close to the front battery, one close to the rear battery. Then depending on how far the back batteries are from the amp, possibly another.

now would you do a fuse after the second battery + before you plug into + power on the amp to protect if anything happens or is that not needed

Depends on how long that run is...I just made a thread kinda asking about this because I am thinking of not running one, but my sundown 3000's dont have internal fuses so I think I should. A fuse in between there won't hurt nothin at all only protect.

cause im gonna be hooking it up to a hifonics brutus bxi2010D and then another smaller amp for my componant...havent decided on the second amp what to get yet..
