Can anyone tell me if this sound crazy, i'm putting 4 15" mofo's on one 1500watt Memphis M series mono block amp. Do you guys think that amp won't be able to take those sub's? That amp isn't cheap and I would like to think that it will still do the job.

amps don't "take" subs, subs "take" amps. the setup will be loud, but adding another amp will be even better.

u should look in to sony subs, there great and u dont have to wait for them to come threw the mail. Just go to a local Walmart and get a few 12inch sony's. there cheap and get loud with little power. no more lights dimming yay thats what they allways say after they get the sonys.

Sony ok first of im not a someone new to the bass community I bet my girl's car out pounds half of the people in here so this isn't first time i've ever hooked up a system. Second four 15's in a dodge dakota isn't something you just jump into this is long time planning and I was asking if you guys thought the amp mite have a problem with 4 15's at one ohm. I have four 15" Memphis PR's that I blew up cause there junk and I'm having a hard time getting them replaced so instead of fighting with my Memphis dealer im going to buy 4 subs that I know can handle whatever amp I throw at it.

I haven't heard anything about this amp holding one ohm or lower ohm loads I know that Memphis doesn't recommend it but I would like to know if anyone on here has done it and what happened?

Those mofos prolly cant handle whatever amp you throw at it lol and theyll most likely sound like shit

Edit: and why wouldnt an amp rated 1500 @ 1 ohm not be stable at 1 ohm?
