I've always been taught that a cars age, so to speak, was determined not by years but by how many miles/KM are on it.

correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel that a '56 dodge with 35,000 miles on it is newer than a 1990 buick with 100,000 miles.

also gotta remember a car that with higher gear ratio has to rev higher to get "x" amount of miles than an engine that has lower gear ratio. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif what if that Buick made all those trips running at only 1200RPM and the dodge ran those 35K miles at 5000RPM? ok..don't listen to me..

But still the age of the vehicle isn't determined by it's year. How about it's overall condition?
