Look at me im an spl noob my car is really loud at one of the 19,980 frequencies that you can hear, sometimes sooooo loud i cannot even enjoy it because being in the vehicle will damage my hearing o noees

not exactly SPL in my case, I just like my music loud, loud highs, loud mids, everything loud. I could two ****s about how I meter, I want to be loud to the ear and have my car sound like a concert every time I roll past. I jokingly call people SQueers, I respect the SQ game, hell I might even ditch the loud thing for it one day(like most people do). Its the elitist SQ heads like you I can't stand.

Honestly when I had my 150 plus DB car, I did this once and knocked over the french fry stall in their building onto some guy.

Got hungry tonight, pulled in to the Captain D's drive thru....had my system thumping just a little BELOW my normal listening level, about 1/4 volume. Anyway, I make my order and pull forward. Sit there for a few mins while the guy ahead of me gets his order and leaves. Then I pull up..2 girls working inside....1 passes me my drink...then they both kinda look around. "Is that YOU?" one asks."Yeah, and its not even 1/2 volume...just a second.", I reply

Turn volume up all the way, then....adjust the bass on the HU up......nice beat.

"OH my god!, he's got the beat!", one of the girls says.

I turn it back down, and tell them "You know whats funny, its only 2 8's and a 500 watt amp.", I say.

"Wow!, I thought it was a couple of 12's", one of the girls says....then she hands me my order and I drive off.

Now, I know my little sytem isnt that loud, but it kinda made me feel good...lol

enh, what can I say, I'm immature for my age, I'd rather be stupid with it now rather than down the line

"bumping" when your older looks odd, and its easier to do it now when I have BS equipment(and I'd rather not say what I have) rather than down the line when I get more higher end type stuff
