Jobs over $25000/ Year

Hell I make 18 dollars an hour delivering free publications, I'm actually paid per stop but it works at to ~20/hour... once you factor in gas, maintnence, food and such it's still ~16-18 hour...

To make good money with little effort you need to get into sales/union/government.... otherwise just go to school. I enjoy school immensly and if the pay was a little better (I manage about 30k/year in grants/loans/parents) I'd do it forever... but I expect 40+ a year to start with my business degree. I have lots of experience and perks to go with the degree though.

Then again my fiance is willing to live poor for awhile rather than work... as am I...

so you know Butch, Jerry, etc?
How could I not know Butch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I didnt think he would still be there. Is Jerry still running the Mitsu side? And if all the lots are in the same location, dont you love running across University to get to the Dodge lot LOL!!

That is why you buy the house, and then get her to sign a lease for half.

Pretty much like any other renters lease? That would be nice but somehow i think it would start an arguement w her //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.. What you dont trust me ?? bla bla bla.. U plan on dumpin me? bla bla bla

That's when you tell her it is to protect her from anything like that. With a signed lease, there is no legal way for you to dump her and kick her out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

not gonna read all this but if you have experiance in the trades why not start your own company? might take a couple years to take off but that's something i've thought of, i don't have enough free time though, opening your business will take 18hrs daily work for awhile

Chief passed way last year but butch is still here. Jerry is over at the Dodge side now. everything is still in the same location and probably will be until they close this place down, but luckily i rarely have to run across university, lol.

Railroad Trainman (conductor, brakeman) 70k - 100k. Req. Highschool diploma or equivalent, 3yrs work experience anywhere, no felonies or DUI's in the last 7 yrs. Gotta pass random pee test.
good job but you are away from home a lot and work all holidays.
i would have to agree with you on that, or if you can weld try to become a carmen. you can make a solid 30-35k a year and trust me, you can get all the over time you could ever want/need. my dad is a foreman general now and gets paid salary but when i was younger, he would work like 12-13 hour days to get a lot of overtime and ended up making more then than he does now.

Ive thought about it, and i realize it takes a few years to get time and money involved , on top of trying to find a good crew to work with.. I love the side jobs because there extra... I would'nt no what to do if something ever happened and i kill my credit and loose everything again.. I look at my boss now and the job we've been working on since last yr is killing him... Hes out $30,000 so far , and it has NOTHING to do with him, it was the home owner.. I see this kind of stuff and it scares the shit outta me

I think the best advice I have ever gotten has been:

If you are driving downtown, and you wait for all green lights to go, you will never get anywhere.

You just need to do some research, find a niche in the market, and go for it. You can start your business on the side and limit liability. Take it slow, do it smart, and you will limit your liability. Granted, there will be long days and 7 day weeks involved, but it very well might pay off in the end.

Very true.. I just wish i had computer knowledge or something that i could carry to a REAL job.. I mean lets face it... I open a buisness do well, side jobs etc etc... Im still a carpenter.. WE dont make that much.. Where as ive seen 20 yr old kids come out of a 2 yr tech school and be making 50k / yr.. .. Its just depressing... Is 27 to early to have a midlife crisis //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Sad to hear. I never really got along with Chief, but it sucks that he passed.
