Jobs over $25000/ Year

And another thing about my job.. I have no beni's... at all , even health/dental.. And work comp sux too.. So when i have to sit at home for 10 weeks like i have so far it makes me wonder if a job like this is worth it

i made about $33k last year and should make about $36k this year, no degree and i'm 24. Some could say i'm lucky but i worked my way up from washing cars in the detail department 5 years ago to the parts manager of the largest Mitsubishi dealership in arkansas.

edit: not trying to brag but if you work hard you can move up quickly in some businesses, especially automotive parts and service.

Railroad Trainman (conductor, brakeman) 70k - 100k. Req. Highschool diploma or equivalent, 3yrs work experience anywhere, no felonies or DUI's in the last 7 yrs. Gotta pass random pee test.
good job but you are away from home a lot and work all holidays.
are u serious 70K-100K? dammn..i love finding these loophole jobs. But to be honest living around here you NEED to make atleast 60K to be living somewhat comfortable where in other place I'm sure anything over 30K is more than enough.

You need to bemaking 60K to be living "comfortably" pretty much anywhere. Then again "comfortably" is pretty subjective.

oh and, 25g's is NOT enough to live off of well. the 35 grand i can make right after graudating college wont even be a "lot". 800-1000 for a single bedroom place, 200 or so for groceries, 100-200 for gas, put aside 200 a month for car REPAIR, not custom stuff, but REPAIR, plus the shit you never think of ALWAYS takes atleast 200, it never fails. thats 1800 a month for stuff you budget in, theres always more. so u figure 35000 net is 2916.67 a month..thats a grand extra a month IF its net pay, but its not its gross, so u MIGHT get like 2400 a month.
depends on where you live, i live a pretty decent life off of 25k/yr

my dads a convicted reformed fellon, with no degree and didnt even graduate high school. who makes 98,000 a year salary. but he busts his *** and deserves it. i dont see him for most of any days. he works 17 hour shifts in plastic injection mold.

its all about lifestyle, gotta decide what is needed and whats wanted. but then again, cost of living in tulsa > most everywhere else
Absolutely. We moved up to the Dallas area and my salary pretty much doubled . . . . . and then so did the shit we spend $$$ on. The more you make the more you spend. Luckily the woman unserstands the situation and there are cutbacks in the works. (My car audio obsession and the stuff I have left to buy is completely off limits though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

Regardless of what you make . . . . No debt FTW!

Me and my wife both went to college full time and supported my daughter of 8k one year. Dont get me wrong is sucked bad, but it taught us we could do it. We didnt starve and we learned how to save every penny. Oh and student/loans grants paid for the college we just had to live of the 8k.

Right on for him, man thats awesome. Its good to know that some people really do turn their lives around. You should be proud of him and he should be proud of himself. Its much easier to go back to old ways.
