Yep I think they would. They are $139.99 on ebay. I don't think you will be disappointed. I never heard one person disappointed yet about these subs.

Im running the phoenix gold RSD in a .95cf sealed box out of 1000 watts and planning on upgrading the sub...

The ones I had in mind where the diamond audio D6 and the image dynamics IDQ12V3

Yeah thats the regular Rsd though. The Rsdc is the bigger brother of it. I have a friend that was running 3 D6's, he then went to 2 Rsdc's and liked it way better.

hm I will look into those, I have a tough decision now...im under the impression that the jl 12w3 is not suppose to get very loud so whatever I switch to should be a pretty big increase correct?

thats box dependant....i had 2 10w3's in a 4th order bandpass with 1200watts goin to them and folks couldnt believe how loud 2 10's got out of a 1990 taurus...this was back in 2001 i miss those days

but yea w3's well the atleast the version 1's and v2's do ...i havent messed with the v3's and dont plan on either

So the RSDC is my best bet? I will pick one up if it will get louder than my W3 off my Alpine MRP M650. I will be pushing 600 watts instead of 300-400 with the W3. How many decibles do you think I will gain?

The RSD12" was rated top 5 out of all the other subs CA&E tested, and the subs above it were all priced 500$-2000$.

Sweet, I understand that it is a great sub but will it get louder off my Alpine MRP M650 than my JL 12W3v3? I do not want to upgrade unless it gets louder. Thanks a lot. Sorry for being a noob.

Also do I have enough power with the alpine mrp m650?
