Jl w3v2 rms?

I have a 12 inch Jl audio w3v2 and I have it hooked up to the sub channel on my precision power 800.5 sub channel, its wired to 2 ohms, and the amp puts out 400 watts at 2 ohms, the subs a d4, I dont know if the amp is under or over rated and whats the max I should feed this sub...

300 or 250 if its in the HO box is the rms but i put mine at like 450 and it was fine
