JL W3v2 6ohm wiring help!!!!!

I have a jl audio w3v2 6 ohm dvc sub. I can wire it down to a 3 ohm load or a 12 ohm load for a single sub. I need help on finding an amplifier that will run this sub at 300w while being stable. Should I buy a mono amp with a 300w rms 4ohm operation, or 2ohm, just help me. Thanks a ton for everything.

i would go with the jbl 300.1 amp......300 watts at 2 ohms and stable...plus, jbl underrates its watts, and the sound quality is excellent....u can get it brand new off ebay for 125 plus shipping...oh yea and wire it to 3 ohms for the most wattage...hope this helps
