JL W3 or ID Q 12" ?

I would say the Jl is better but both are really good sub. The IDQ has hella good SQ and keeping the SPL right where it needs be. The JL w3 has SQ but it leans more to SPL . Both can sound good in a nice install. Do the install right and youll be happy with the one you pick.

Go with the JL for bass....but keep in mind there are alot of other subs out there for alot of bass for decent prices. Look into the fosgate he series the alpine type-s and the audiobahn 120q

the fosgate he12 at 200rms is pretty hard hitting for the price with pretty clean notes

i know i woudl be underpowering...but how you all think it will sound ?

i will end up gettin a 15 anyway...so i might as well get it now...i would also buy another later on and a bigger amp

In that case, I think the 15W3 would really spank the IDQ in SPL. Probably pretty close in SQ with the IDQ having a slight edge imo.

if i get the 15...what size of mdf to use...3/4" ?
