JL, vs. US amps vs. soundstream

I'm looking at amps for all 4 speakers and for subs, I will be buying two amps, for the component speakers I am looking at the Jl 300/4 the US amps XT 1600.4 and the Soundstream TRA960.4. For the subs I really have no Idea, I am looking at subs in the 500-800 watt range so maybe a 600 watt sub at 2 ohms would be good.

US Amps XT-1600.2 - US Amps 2 Ch 1600 Watt Power Amplifier

would this be a good amp to power to 800 watt subwoofers, or should I look into a mono amp.
