JL sub

Bad choice. I wouldn't choose anything over the JL product. Maybe cheaper for the RE's but you won't gt that same quality. Definatley try a JL amp if you have the money. Runs the same on 1.5 ohm load as on 4 ohm load. Oly amp that does this.

JL is not the only quality brand of car audio. In fact, you can get just as good of quality at lower prices. RE, FI, and TC Sounds come to mind for subs. And Zed, Sundown, and Zapco come to mind for amps. Why would you want the amp to run the same with a 4 ohm load compared to a 1.5 ohm load? Most amps will deliver more wattage at lower ohm loads...don't know why you wouldn't want this.
