JL Stealth going to cut it in Tahoe?

I got the Stealth for the console and a 250/1 used a while back in anticipation of building a system in our Tahoe. Now I have a set of Germs and a Zed Duece for the fronts and am worried the (1) 10" won't cut it. I would just go ahead and install it and see how it sounds....but ****, that is a lot of cutting to the console to make it happen.

So I am wondering from those with experiance with these, how well do they put out, and will it even come close to my (2) 10W3v2's off 500W in my truck? Also if it were your Tahoe what would you put in there. Can't use the cargo space.....

I personally dont like the way the center console jl enclosures sound. You would be much better off doing something in the rear cargo space.

I ordered a custom box from Q logic for a eight that goes forward of the center console. I cut the round hole out to a square so the s8l7 would fit. I also have a stock 8" sub in the back that will be getting replaced with probably a 8" cvr from kicker as well. It really does hit pretty hard its not a 12" but its hidden and doesn;t take up any space and your not cutting anything that you cant put back if you dont like it. This only works on the "00" to "02" burbs and tahoes as I remember.

Thanks so far....I really don't want to go to all that work and be dissapointed. And this was going to be a simple system to replace the awful Bose for the wife. Maybe a 12" sealed running off the Zed 600.1? Suggestions?

they sound good, but dont have the output. i ahve heard four tens in a tahoe get absolutly nasty.

Well I am now convincing myself the Stealth is not going to keep up with the rest of the system. Now thinking maybe SP's or the new BM's. If I do use up some cargo space I want to keep it to a minimum if possible, and may stay with the Zed theme and pick up their 600.1. Two tens...two twelves....one 15"? Also I am very handy but don't own a table saw, so is there a good source for boxes that would work well with any of these subs? Thanks for any more input.
