it s easily possible depending on the dealer , im running 2 12 w7 s which i got on dealer accomidations and i ll tell u as well as alot of u no.. Jl is immensly marked up.. Put it this way on accomidations i got 2 12 w7 s and 2 1000/1 s, brand new full warranty, (obviously) for $1200... thats 250 for the w7 s and 359 i believe for the 1000/1 s .. go with 1 or 2 10W6V2s. throw some mad power to it (or them, whichever you end up going with) and you (he) won't regret it.

just buy my 1 12w6v2 and do a nice box with at least 400rms and he will be happy :0)

actually just got a look at the install space to and im gonna be going with 2 10w3v2-d2's..... oh and btw price isnt a huge factor in the jl... my boss can normally get me almost any audio gear I need at cost... so price is probably pretty close to even, but I could be mistaken

I ll run with that ^^^^^ .. I own 2 12w7 s and 2 sx 12 s and it s nowhere near close in anyaspect .. The re s are very nice and loud for the price and depending on what kind of sound your looking for i think ud like 2 se 12 s .. especially the price,, The only reason i have w7 s is because i get dealer accomidations, $249 -12 w7 ) .. otherwise i d prolly go with re s xxx .. by the way as far as testing i used 2 jl 1000/1 amps for the power and just went off the jl and re spec boxes just be fair .. The jl s were a lil louder to the ear and about 2 db on the new Termlab.. but thats up around 50 hz on a burp.. anything below 40 hz or so is all w7 i mean starts to be 5-6 db diference around 30 hz, but then again like i said thers noot to many sub s that compare to w7 s low end
well in my case i am a dealer .. and yea 250 per w7 and 350 per 1000/1 is right on whoever did nt believe it..
