JL Gain Tutorial down?

the link isnt working in the sticky anymore.. and i was gonan help my buddy use this DMM method to set the gains for his new setup.

i know the formula for voltage, i know to play a test tone, i know to put settings as high as youd listen.

now, do i use the extensions on the DMM as if they were wires from the speaker? or do i leave the speaker wire on the amp and just touch each thing to the corresponding terminal on the amp, or what? and them im assuming slowly turn the gain up til you get the voltage you want.

havent setup a system properly since i learned how to do this so i need some help. thanks.
