JL Audio's 12w6 box schematic . . .

Hey all. JL's site has a 1.25 volume box listed for a sealed enclosure. In the notes it says that bracing must be added for the overall volume, but in the same sentence it says this has already been taken into account. My question is, what type of bracing is typically used for a box for a w6, and what should the REAL dimensions be for the box, if different from the site?

In a 1.25 sealed enclosure you would be perfectly fine without bracing...

yea 1.25 is tiny....just use 3/4 mdf and fasten it together well and u shud be good

You won't need bracing for a 1.25cf. box.

As its been said, your not going to need bracing for that small of a box. You'll be fine. Glad to see another tampa person on here...even though Im in orlando now.
