What size plexiglass should I use as a part of a box. 3/4th? How much would a piece of plexi that is 48"W and 20"H cost?
Woah..NVM about plexi. Gotta think of another way to make a nice box.Plexi flexes more than MDF, 1" would be best. You're looking at over $100 for that size 3/4" and more like $150 for 1"
Yeah I read that already. ThanksDon't expect to find it a lowe's. Biggest we carry is 1/4" I belive,
isnt lexan really expensive???use lexan, its stonger than plexi. just keep it in fairly small pieces and support it.
I said no to Plexi because of the priceyes, unless you come across a good deal on ebay:up2somet: I believe i was priced $480 for a 4x8 sheet of 3/8, and that was the cost the company could get it for where i work. So yea, the price is up there. I got two pretty good size scrap pieces off ebay for like 30 bucks shipped or something like that.
