You can say that people are haters, but the truth is that they probably know more than you. Knowledge is power, and you WILL NOT get the full potential out of your JL equipment that was "created by the gods." There are people out there that will have better sounding setups than yours and will have spent less because they are educated. And no, I'm not hating.

Agreed. Ive owned a shit load of JL products(hence the screen name) but I do not go around claiming JL is god. N00bs get so retarded when JL products get into their hands. IMO the people that have JL up their ass are the ones hating because they assume all other brands are inferior.

First post in this thread. AWESOME!!! After reading most of it, I would agree with most that the majority of JL owners just own the stuff because its JL and they have never heard anything else. JL PWNS!!!

I'll admit I own some w6s and a 500/1, used to have a 250/1 and have some w1s sitting on the shelf in the garage. I have listened to other brands and I have yet to find something that sounds as good as the w6s to my ear. I owned some IDqs, some bostons, some REs and some type Rs, and I always end up going back to them. That is just preference and just because to my ear, they sound good.

I'm not about being loud though. They are in a small sealed box.

I will add that I would never pay MSRP for any of it though. It's not worth it. I paid $400 (total, not a piece) for both of my w6s and bought the 500/1 on here for under $250.

I guess it comes down to what you like. People that own JL because its JL need to get the eff off my bandwagon.
