You can bet your *** that frequency response is largely enclosure specific (hey guess what? So is high SPL numbers!) but that changes nothing in my previous post. If I'm wanting the w7 to really emphasize the 25-40hz region, the upper bass is going to be limited and it will not blend well with the front stage due to the exaggerated low end. If I wanted a nice and flat FR, I would rather go with the w6 as I prefer its sound and space/power/price requirements. I do not like the sound of the w7s, even in a high Qtc alignment where its low end is tamed. Does that mean they sound terrible? No. But it's not what I want out of my sub and that's what makes this world beautiful -- we all like different things.
