jl audio w7 13.5" sub.

whats the max rms i can put to the 1 sub cause my bro has a 1800 watt amp hooked to 1 jl audio w7 13.5" sub should i do the same or is it overpowering it?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
they can take that much... actualy they can take 2000 before waranty void, but i wouldn't reccomend it, some of the best single 13w7 setups i've heard have had 1400 to 1500 on them... 1800 is pushing it but i doubt he is useing the full 1800 watts i reccomend 1200 to 1400, for a compromise of long life and performance... the 1000/1's push them very well but you can put a little more to them and get more out of them...
