Ok, I've owned my subs for about a year now and I just picked up the manual and read up on it (stuck at work, bored), it says that the sub is configured as 2ohms from the factory. I've always thought it was 4ohms?? If that's true then my subs are wired completely wrong. Which means that my subs arent even hooked up as 1ohm, but .5ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif ...someone confirm this.

I have it hooked up exactly like that. Hence the jumpers on the vc's were already wired in parallel like the picture above, I just added another wire and hooked it up in parallel from the main speaker terminals, and then from there directly to the amp as the picture above.

Yea (the pic is for a 2ohm but the wiring are the same), I thought I had 4ohms too, but now, Im not so sure anymore after reading that from the manual. I emailed JL and I am waiting on what they have to say about this.
