I was wondering what kind of box is best? i have a ported and it sounds ok.. it wont hit the really low bass. should i go with a sealed box? Thanks

If it won't reach lower frequencies then it is tuned too low.

I personally think u can hit lower bass with a ported box tending on what frequency its tuned to..Tell me what your box is tuned to and I can tell you what U need to re-tune it to inorder for it to hit low-bass significantly for your liking!

i have both of the knobs on the amp at 1/2 and the box is about 1.5 cu. ft. i think. There are 2 ports on the box that are about 2-2.5 inches
